Coach Riley thanking players at final home game, 2-22-25 - Tate Rink

​Coach Brian Riley - THANK YOU....

The Black Knights secured a win in the final home game at Tate Rink in a 3-2 overtime victory against American International. The game was retiring head coach Brian Riley's final home game at Tate Rink. Army finished fifth in league standings and will not have any home playoff games this year. Coach Riley retires after 21 seasons at the helm of Army Hockey. The Army Hockey Zone sends a big thank you to Coach Riley, the entire Riley family, and wishes Coach a great retirement!
As far as the game, Army trailed 1-0 entering the third period but rallied for two goals, by Jack Ivey and Joey Baez, to take the 2-1 lead. AIC pulled their goalie and managed a goal with 49 seconds left in regulation to knot things up. Vincent Salice netted the game winner in OT for the Black Knights.
